Lybee Loves New York!

Even as the rough city air attacked my skin, landing in the melting pot of opportunity felt amazing. New York City, rich with history at every turn, gave way to modern opportunity. The Nymboo Girls and I celebrate our first year by honoring their 25^th anniversary. Surtex is the show that created the Art Licensing Industry. I sat back and watched as artists bear their souls on paper, textiles, drawings, comics and more. It was inspiring to watch artists interact with agents while potential companies shuffle through the aisles. Around every corner you could see multi-media unfold. I breathed it in and experienced Surtex 2011 with every inch of my soul.

Kikii Get's NYC All Wet!

Three Words! Where’s the Beach? The concrete jungle was a little overwhelming for me. It was nice to visit NYC for the first time, but I needed some seaside therapy when it was all over! We worked hard from the moment we landed. Even the after parties were hard work! NYC is a definite melting pot! We chased Belgium Waffle Carts, found little French bistros, walked the bright lights of Broadway and hunted the best art / licensing deals at Surtex! WOW! My flower needs WATER!

Giuppy Goes POP! NYC Launch!

OMG! LOL! NYC was SUPER FUN! Lights! Camera! Action! POP! My heart was, like, RACING when we landed! The other Nymboo Girls were making fun of me, but I couldn’t sit STILL! HAHAHAHA! As soon as we got to our hotel, I immediately hit the fitness room! It must have helped because I was ready for anything at Surtex! We were a hit! Smooth Operator, Bee-J, takes NYC by storm!

New York City Baby! That’s right, Bee-J in FULL effect! We took the Surtex Show by STORM, rolling through every opportunity. Me and the Girls were set up in the finest digs, rollin’ through the streets and launching our new line at Surtex 2011. The streets don’t lie! The Nymboo Girls are six, sexy smooth operators! Makin’ deals and eatin’ meals! Catch us if you can as we dominate the US on our World Tour BABY!

Deeva Does NYC!

New York! New York! It was love at first sight! The bright lights of 42^nd street and Broadway were only blocks away from The Javits Convention Center where the girls and I were making our BIG debut. Surtex 2011 was full of exciting new designs, textures and best of all, The Nymboo Girls! We made a big splash and are very excited about the contacts we met. Everyone loved our style. It’s going to be a fun journey here in the United States! Stay tuned for our next stop on the US tour!

Surtex 2011 update by Moony!

You know the tune, right? “Rain Drops On Roses and Whiskers on Kittens, Bright Copper Kettles and Warm Woolen Mittens”. There weren’t any roses and there weren’t any fluffy kittens at our booth! I’m reflecting on our fabulous appearance in New York City; launching myself and ‘The Girls’ into the USA! Surtex 2011 is home to many artists, agents and companies looking for perfect licensing opportunities. It’s safe to say that we all received a ton of interesting looks! They loved our bold personalities, colors and graphics! I even got compared to the great Betty Page! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

"Meet me in New York": A Surtex 2011 Announcement

The image of Moony (shown here) represents two important events happening in the Nymboo world. First, the official announcement of our US presence with licensing agency, brandITbandits. The Nymboo characters and graphic elements are now available for licensing in all categories for the United States of America. Second, Nymboo will premiere their line of characters in NYC by participating at Surtex 2011 at Jacob Javits Center May 15-17 in booth #266. Surtex 2011 marks one of the most important trade shows for licensing art and design in the world marketplace. An Italian company, Nymboo will unveil their characters at the show.
